Meet Phil & Sue — The Heart of PS Photography
Behind PS Photography are Phil & Sue, a husband-and-wife photography team who bring two different perspectives behind the camera—and we think that’s what makes our work special.
We each notice moments a little differently, and that gives our clients the best of both worlds. One of us may be creating a beautifully posed portrait while the other notices the laughter, connection, or unexpected moment happening just outside the frame.
Our personalities and photography styles are different, but our purpose is the same: to create photographs that feel genuine, connected, meaningful, and true to you. Together, we bring creativity, patience, humor, and a love for storytelling into every PS Photography experience.

Meet Sue
Sue’s photography style is warm, soft, natural, and thoughtfully posed. With a background in Early Childhood, she brings patience, creativity, and an eye for the little details that help people feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Sue loves creating beautiful portraits while still leaving room for personalities and genuine connections to shine through. She’ll help with posing, positioning, and those small adjustments that can turn a good photograph into one you’ll want to keep forever.
Meet Phil
Phil brings a more candid, cinematic, and storytelling approach to photography. He loves using color, contrast, light, and perspective to create images that feel rich, expressive, and full of life.
He’s always watching for the moments happening in between—the laugh that wasn’t planned, the look between two people, the kids being themselves, or the connection that happens when everyone forgets about the camera for a moment. He’s the one down on the ground getting every moment.
Phil’s style has a slightly more cinematic feel, while still staying true to the people and moments he’s photographing. His relaxed approach and sense of humor help keep sessions comfortable and fun, allowing him to capture genuine expressions and real moments as they naturally unfold.
