Senior Photography That Celebrates Who You Are

Senior year is filled with exciting milestones, big decisions, and unforgettable memories. Before you know it, graduation will be here, and life will be taking you on your next adventure. A senior photography session is about more than just getting pictures for the yearbook—it's about capturing who you are right now.

At PS Photography, we believe your senior session should feel relaxed, fun, and completely authentic to you. Whether you're outgoing and adventurous or quiet and laid-back, we'll work together to create images that reflect your personality and tell your story.

What Makes a Great Senior Session?

The best senior photos happen when you feel comfortable being yourself.

We encourage seniors to bring their personality into the session by choosing locations, outfits, and even props that have meaning to them.

Some ideas include:

  • Your favorite park or downtown location

  • A sports uniform or equipment

  • Musical instruments

  • Books or hobbies

  • Your first car or truck, a tractor on the farm

  • A cap and gown (if you already have one)

  • Your college sweatshirt or future career gear

  • Friends are welcome to be photographed with you.

These little details help make your session unique and create photos you'll love looking back on for years to come.

Choosing Your Outfits

Depending on the Moments Collection you've selected, you'll have the opportunity for 1–3 outfits during your session.

  • Natural Moments Collection: 1 outfit

  • Golden Moments Collection: 2–3 outfits

If your collection includes outfit changes, we recommend choosing a variety of looks to give your gallery a little more diversity. Some ideas include:

  • A casual everyday outfit

  • Something dressier for a polished look

  • An outfit that reflects your hobbies, sports, or interests

Choose clothing that makes you feel confident and comfortable. Solid colors, timeless styles, and coordinating accessories tend to photograph beautifully and help keep the focus on you. We also recommend trying on your outfits before your session to make sure everything fits well and makes you feel your best.

Choosing Your Location

The location you choose helps tell your story and sets the tone for your senior session. Whether you love nature, an urban setting, or a location that's meaningful to you, we'll work together to find the perfect backdrop for your photos.

Your location options depend on the Moments Collection you've selected:

Natural Moments Collection

  • 1 location

Golden Moments Collection

  • Up to 2 locations

Some popular location ideas include:

  • Local parks and nature preserves

  • Downtown streets and murals

  • Open fields and wildflowers

  • Lakes or waterfronts

  • Your high school campus (where permitted)

  • Sports fields or stadiums

  • Your family's property or farm

  • A location that reflects your hobbies or interests

If you're not sure where you'd like your session, we'd be happy to recommend locations that fit your style and vision. Together, we'll choose a setting that helps create genuine, timeless images you'll love for years to come.

What to Expect

From the moment you book your session, we'll guide you through the process. We'll help with planning, answer your questions, and make sure your session is enjoyable from start to finish.

During your session, we'll provide plenty of posing guidance while also capturing natural smiles, genuine expressions, and those in-between moments that often become favorites.

After your session, we'll carefully select and edit your images in our warm, natural, true-to-color style. Your gallery will be delivered online, where you can download your included images and shop for professional-quality prints, canvases, albums, graduation announcements, and other keepsakes.

Friends Are Welcome!

Want to include your best friend in a few photos? We'd love to help capture those special friendships!

Senior sessions may include up to two (2) friends for a portion of the session at no additional charge. If you would like to include more than two friends, an additional fee per person will apply.

Please note that friends are included for group photos with the senior only. Individual portraits of friends are not included as part of the senior session. Friends who would like their own individual portraits are welcome to book a separate session with PS Photography.

Parents Are Always Welcome

Parents are encouraged to attend senior sessions! They often enjoy being part of this special milestone and can help with outfit changes, carrying personal items, or simply cheering their senior on.

For the safety of everyone involved, seniors under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present during the session or have a signed Parent/Guardian Release Form on file with PS Photography before the session begins. This helps ensure everyone has a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience.
